Welcome on the sites of the Anchorage (PAZA) ARTCC.

Alaska is a state in the extreme northwest portion of the North American continent. It is the largest U.S. state by land area land area at 570,380 square miles (1,477,277 km²). Alaska is one of two U.S. states not bordered by another state, Hawaii being the other. Alaska has more coastline than all the other US states combined.
Cities not served by road or sea can be reached only by air, accounting for Alaska's extremely well developed Bush air services - an Alaskan novelty. Anchorage itself, and to a lesser extent Fairbanks, are serviced by many major airlines. Air travel is the cheapest and most efficient form of transportation in and out of the state.
Now, I hope you enjoying the beautiful landscape of Alaska, while flying VFR or our ATC-Service at one of the airports in Alaska.
We invite you, to make this experience.

Best Regards,

Philipp Mittelstaedt
PAZA ARTCC Chief
